Welcome to The Speech Place
Just a heads-up, we aren’t your traditional speech therapy clinic. We treat kids ages 4 and up, and specialize in speech and myofunctional disorders that affect speech clarity, feeding skills, breathing, behavior, and sleep.

At The Speech Place our primary focus is supporting healthy growth & development. We want every kid to breathe well, sleep well, and grow well! Supporting proper breathing, feeding, and speaking skills now, can set them up for health and happiness as adults.

The Speech Place is designed to be patient-centered, giving each client exactly what they need. No cut & paste programs here! We team up with families to master and generalize new skills and support healthy habits at home.
Meet Amie
Amie is a licensed speech pathologist with training in orofacial myofunctional disorders. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) of the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She has enjoyed helping children, teens, and adults reach their goals since 2010. She lives in Rocklin with her husband and two adventurous boys.

SCREENINGS & CONSULTATIONS

Consultation Fee (child) $60

INITIAL EVALUATIONS
Baseline testing to see where the child is struggling and why. This is an essential service in order to begin specialized treatment designed specifically for your child.
Evaluation Fee $185
Insurance-Friendly Report add $40
SPEECH & MYOFUNCTIONAL THERAPY
Treatment is customized to the child’s needs. Exercises are taught to both parent and child, to support home practice. Treatment sessions are typically recommended to be scheduled weekly; however we do offer biweekly and virtual sessions.
Per Session Fee $57-$85
Sibling Session add $20
TONGUE-TIE RELEASE READINESS
Treatment designed specifically to prepare the child for their release procedure, both functionally and mentally, and correct oral function afterward. Pre and post-release treatment is research-based and highly recommended for best results and reducing the possibility of reattachment.
